We are continually influenced by the world in which we live, be it the weather, the people we meet, or a painting, for instance, that we like or dislike. All the objects in our daily lives influence us; whether it’s irritation, joy, or indifference. They all continuously impact on us, no matter if we are aware of it or not.
When we first arrive in a new home, we lay down our mark, as if we want to consecrate our territory. We place a piece of furniture in such or such corner of the room, we paint a room in such or such color, and we place the items of decoration in specific spots.
